D is for Dragons

“When it comes to fighting for your dreams, be a dragon. Breathe fire.”

Dragons roam between the worlds

reminding us that magic dwells

in all the spaces

small and large

to tap when it is needed.

All you do is look inside

to find the spark that waits.

Breathe a little breath of life

and watch it flicker and flame.

The magic will bubble and flow

with wonders that cannot be named.

I am feeling more than can be said.

I am reading Dancing with Dragons by D.J. Conway,

and I’m working on feeling my feelings.

  1. Lovely.

I am reading Cornelia Funke’s Dragonrider (I wrote my post last week) now to continue my quest to understand middle-grade tastes. Our book choices at the moment likely couldn’t be more different while still likely to come up in the same keyword search. I think yours sounds like a good choice for my next round of thematic reading.
