Photo Prompts to Entice Your Muse – Day 6

Writing is mentally stimulating; it’s like a puzzle that makes you think all the time. ~Stephanie Zimbalist

What do you see when you look at this photo? What story comes to mind whether personal or fictional?

How to Play along:

It’s simple really, you can write up to 99 words, no more, in poetry, memoir, essays, or flash fiction – or – you can write thirteen, yes thirteen, lines of I remember…

You then come back and tell us where to find your lovely words and we’ll hop over to read them. Do remember to visit the other participants and share word love along the way.

You may think that’s too many possibilities but I say, too much of the same thing gets boring. So, when you hop along reading what others have written, you never know what you will find; could be a poem, a flash fiction story,  a bit of memoir, or an interesting essay.

Remember, use the hashtag, #365PhotoPrompts or #365RDWR which is; 365 days – read, dance, write, repeat.

Listen, watch, dance, and feel the creativity vibe rock through you!

Have fun following your words!
Read, Dance, Write, Repeat!

  1. Hello Morgan
    Here is my piece…
    Abstraction… as I remember…

The photo prompt looks like a blur of two bright colors with a symmetrical background, also blurred in the bright lights…

I remember as an abstraction.. the day Sidharth graduated from the grounds of UCLA. Similar color themes flooded the campus on the graduation day. My memory is bright but the emotions are blurry , both at the same time…
The feelings of graduation are usually happy sad moments.. a sense of accomplishment with a tinge of uncertainty. Excitement and a bit of apprehension. Future appears as a puzzle with endless possibilities.
For parents , great pride with a bit of relief. A warm compassionate empathy flows towards him and all others …. ‘we have been there and made it , so will you ‘….💕😊🙏sr
